After thousands of operating hours, the engine is due for an overhaul — and with these small marine diesels, that is almost always more sensible than replacing it. An engine overhaul kit bundles all associated wear parts into a single order, matched to your engine code, so you don’t have to hunt down dozens of separate parts.
We supply two types of kits. The complete engine overhaul kit for a full overhaul with the engine removed, and the in-frame overhaul kit for an overhaul where the block stays in the boat: pistons, rings, bearings, and gaskets are replaced without removing the engine. The exact contents are listed per product; for engines available in multiple versions, pay attention to the difference between direct and indirect injection.
