Valve stem seal for Yanmar YM-series marine engines. A valve stem seal prevents oil from leaking past the valve stem into the combustion chamber; worn seals lead to oil consumption, blue smoke, and reduced engine performance. Therefore, always replace the valve stem seals when overhauling the cylinder head.
