For this engine block, both a 1.7 kW version (this item) and an original 1.2 kW OEM version exist — the latter can be found separately in our shop. Both have 14 teeth and are interchangeable; the 1.7 kW provides extra starting torque. Always check the part number on the nameplate of your old starter motor (STM9835, 13827002, or AA.300.91320).
